Welcome to K1M: Atomic Elite!
If you’ve been asked to read this, it means your application was accepted and we believe you’re going to be a great fit for this team. Congratulations. Now, please allow me a few minutes to tell you about our guiding principals and rules:
Take Care of Each Other
What makes a K1M member “Atomic Elite” is our sense of service to each other and to the alliance. It’s more than responsibility; it’s a genuine desire to serve, a deeply felt need to take care of each other.
- Taking care means buying shields for during Enemy Buster to preserve power and resources.
- Taking care means sharing wisdom openly and helping teammates grow.
- Taking care means noticing good things and expressing gratitude for jobs well done.
- Taking care means waiting by treasures so everybody can arrive and collect a reward.
- Taking care means showing respect to the people around you.
- And much more.
Taking care is not a list of tasks; it’s a way of being. It’s the K1M way. And when we reach our goals of total domination, it will be because our caring principle works for us, and we work for each other.
Respectful Behavior
We expect ALL members to behave decently.
We have no tolerance people who try to divide us into factions, create drama, harass, abuse, or bully others, express bigoted beliefs, or who make inappropriate comments and try to gaslight us with silly claims like “it’s just a joke.”
Keep it friendly, keep it light, and keep it focused on the game.
Attacking & Plundering
Non-Aggression Pact (NAP)
The Top 9 alliances on Server 175 are all aligned in a non-aggression pact. That means we don’t attack them and they don’t attack us.
This applies to:
- Headquarters
- Tanks
- Mines Melee
- Trucks
- Arena (If you have no other choice but to spend diamonds refreshing or hit an NAP member, it’s permitted. But only one time per member.)
- Season buildings & tiles.
- All properties in an attached Farm or Academy alliance.
- Basically everything.
This is an ironclad rule. Do not mess with the NAP.
Server 175
At K1M, we believe in server unity, and feel that it’s unwise to attack our own because it depletes resources and weakens our position in Server-vs-Server contests. It also demoralizes and weakens developing alliances like nUF, ADI, and NE3 that are populated with good players who are learning, participating in events, and are eager to be a part of the larger community.
We don’t have a rule not to attack folks on Server 175, but it’s very much a tradition. During the week we build our strength and on Saturdays we dominate State Ruler and then we invade other servers to plunder resources, increase kill points, and wreak havoc.
Ranking System
We adjust ranks based on weekly VS participation. It’s simple, transparent, and fair.
- If you score less than 6 million, you’ll be placed into the R1 group.
- If you score between 6 and 12 million, you’ll be placed into the R2 group.
- If you score greater than 12 million, then you’ll be placed into the R3 group.
Adjustments to placement typically happen every week on Sunday.
Shields Up for Enemy Buster
Every Saturday, starting at 00:00 Apocalypse Time, invaders from other servers visit our hive. Unless you’re active and deliberately fighting, all members are requested and required to raise a shield. This is not optional. Protecting our numbers protects our rank — and our rank protects our position in the NAP.
In my personal case, I buy two shields every week. One 24-hour, and one 8-hour. I typically deploy the 24 at around 21:00 Apocalypse time on Friday (about 3 hours early), and that gives me a five-hour window on Saturday (between 16:00 and 21:00) to raise my 8-hour shield. In this way, I have continual coverage.
